Lucknow: A comprehensive Samadhan Diwas was conducted across all five tehsils of the district on Saturday, aimed at addressing public grievances at the local level. District Magistrate Vishakh G. presided over the programme at BKT tehsil, where he personally reviewed complaints and ensured swift resolutions.
According to the District Magistrate, a total of 520 grievances were received during the Samadhan Diwas held in Sadar, Malihabad, BKT, Mohanlalganj and Sarojininagar tehsils. Of these, 113 cases were resolved on the spot, reflecting the administration’s commitment to prompt public service.
68 Cases Resolved at BKT Tehsil
At BKT tehsil alone, 177 complaints were lodged, of which 68 were resolved immediately through coordinated efforts of various departmental teams. The remaining cases have been forwarded to the respective departments with instructions to ensure disposal within one week.
The DM emphasised that addressing public grievances in a timely and transparent manner is a top priority of the government. He directed all officials to strictly follow legal procedures and ensure quality disposal of cases within the stipulated timeframe. He further instructed that complainants be informed once their issues are resolved.
Tehsil-wise Disposal Breakdown
- Tehsil Sadar: 67 complaints – 07 resolved
- Malihabad: 70 complaints – 08 resolved
- BKT: 177 complaints – 68 resolved
- Mohanlalganj: 136 complaints – 26 resolved
- Sarojininagar: 70 complaints – 04 resolved
Of the total grievances received across the district today, 83 pertained to police matters, 292 to revenue, 50 to development, 12 to social welfare, 4 to municipal issues, and 76 to other categories.

Strict Monitoring and Feedback System
DM Vishakh G. directed all district-level officers to submit disposal reports with photos and videos and ensure that complainants are contacted for feedback after resolution. The DM stressed that all pending matters must be resolved within the pre-set deadlines.

The event was attended by Chief Development Officer Ajay Jain, Additional District Magistrate (Trans-Gomti), ADCP North, ACP BKT, Additional Chief Medical Officer, SDM BKT Sahil Singh, Tehsildar BKT Sharad Singh, and officials from police, social welfare and various other departments.
The Samadhan Diwas once again highlighted the administration’s resolve to strengthen grassroots governance and ensure timely relief to citizens.
